Ross James

Ross spent many years in the entertainment industry, travelling with rock bands around Australia.  He settled in Rockhampton in the 1980s and was the Sound Technician and then Tech Manager at the Pilbeam Theatre for 20+ years. After retiring, Ross developed his hobby of designing and building sets and props into what is now an Australia wide operation.

In the CQ area, Ross is a key component in the community. His generosity and connection to the people is priceless for the local arts community. He is also a key component to the culture of the area, providing audio and visual for many of the local festivals, community events and holiday celebrations,

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang has probably been his favourite build with the challenge of creating such a detailed piece with multiple moving parts and tricks.
